Watch the Darren Aronofsky-Directed Revlon Ad Starring Jessica Biel and Pharrell

The good news: Jessica Biel got her chance to work with Oscar-nominated director Darren Aronofsky! The bad news: It was for a Revlon commercial about lash-plumping mascara. And, well, it's no Black Swan; now there's a movie that knew its way around a make-up brush. Watch Biel pout and bat her lashes in soft focus in Aronofsky's least-daring work to date after the jump.

Personally, I'm digging Shia LaBeouf's Kid Cudi video more than this piece of B&W fluff, in which poor Pharrell is pulling all the weight. (Singing? Acting? Staggering under the invisible force of Jessica Biel's eyelash-fluttering? This man can do it all!) At least Shia's fuzzy footage gives the impression that he and Cudi just got high one night and picked up a flipcam. How many millions of dollars in set dressing, soft-focus lenses, and star salaries went into this Revlon joint?

Good news: lovely girl, sexy voice
Bad news: ANNOYING as hell and can't pick a good movie to save her life

  • Jackson says:

I must disagree with you. This has got to be one of the SEXIEST makeup Adverts that I've ever seen PERIOD!....it freaking tops all of J.lo's Adverts for Loreal and Shia's vid is nothing.

  • The Pope says:

    Jackson,
I don't think Biel's sexiness is in question. What Lorie was saying was that Biel can pick the right mascara, but she can't pick a decent script.
