24 Frames reports that "a person who was briefed on the project but was not authorized to talk about it publicly" says Eisenberg is in talks to co-star in the film, opposite Ben Stiller and an in-talks Naomi Watts. (So, grain of salt?) If Eisenberg and Watts join the film, they'll replace James Franco and Cate Blanchett, both who were initially rumored for While We're Young but left due to scheduling issues.
Whether or not this comes to fruition obviously remains to be seen, but there's at least one person hoping it doesn't: Armond White. After all, not only did White go apoplectic on Greenberg, but he also hated Eisenberg's performance in The Social Network to dizzying levels. Wrote White in his negative review of the David Fincher film: "As played by pale-skinned, curly-headed Jesse Eisenberg, Zuckerberg may be the most obnoxious movie protagonist Noah Baumbach didn't write."
