Per Variety, Twentieth Century Fox has limited its search to replace Darren Aronofsky as director of The Wolverine to a mere eight possibilities: Jose Padilha, Doug Liman, Antoine Fuqua, Mark Romanek, Justin Lin, Gavin O'Connor, James Mangold and Gary Shore. (Apparently Pedro Almodovar and Terrence Malick were unavailable to make this an even ten.) Sadly, none of the Movieline approved suggestions for The Wolverine appear here, though there's still time.
