Poster Premiere and 5 New Images from Azazel Jacobs' Terri

Azazel Jacobs' John C. Reilly-starring Sundance charmer Terri debuts in theaters July 1 -- the perfect indie alternative option to Transformers 3 for the holiday weekend -- and Movieline's got your exclusive first look at five new images and the film's poster, in which newcomer Jacob Wysocki (as the titular misfit teen, Terri) faces off against Reilly's high school vice principal.

Terri stars Jacob Wysocki as a teenage outsider who lives with his uncle (The Office's Creed Bratton) on the outskirts of town. When the school vice principal (Reilly) reaches out to him, the two form a friendship, and Terri connects with two fellow misfits (Olivia Crociccia and Bridger Zadina).

The official synopsis:

A hit at the Sundance 2011 Film Festival, TERRI is a moving and often funny film about the relationship between Terri, an oversized teen misfit, and the garrulous but well-meaning vice principal (John C. Reilly) who takes an interest in him. TERRI is produced by the team behind BLUE VALENTINE and HALF NELSON, and directed by Azazel Jacobs (MOMMA'S MAN).

First of all, film looks great. Second, the only thing I find weird about that kid is the Crocs. I mean, for pity's sake, Crocs? Really? I wouldn't even wear Crocs if I was by myself, living on a deserted island and my choices were Crocs or leaves. I'd choose leaves. Big time.
