How Did Your Favorite Movie Stars Fare in the 2011 Tony Award Nominations?

Last year the Tonys may as well have been called the "Movie Stars on a Stage! Awards" considering its handouts to Denzel Washington, Viola Davis, Scarlett Johansson, and Catherine Zeta-Jones. This year, the pack of Tony nominees is considerably less cinematic -- but did a certain Hogwarts grad pull in a nod for not-really-trying-to-succeed? Actor nominees after the jump.

The answer: Not very well! Past Tony winners Al Pacino, Vanessa Redgrave, and Billy Crudup clocked in with nominations, as well as past nominee Frances McDormand. In the first-timers department, you can now count Ellen Barkin and Edie Falco as Tony considerees. Unfortunately, Mr. Daniel Radcliffe wasn't nominated for this turn in How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying -- but his award-season regular costar John Larroquette was!
