Kristen Stewart Says Breaking Dawn Birth Scene 'Hits You in the Face'

Perhaps as part of their pre-release push for Breaking Dawn -- the first part of which hits theaters in November -- Summit Entertainment will want to invest in some D-Box seats. At least for the much-discussed and debated placenta-chewing birth scene, which -- according to star Kristen Stewart -- "hits you in the face." Should fans bring a towel to their local multiplex, too?

Oh! She means figuratively! Phew. Despite not reaching theaters for another seven months, Breaking Dawn graces the cover of EW this week, and the very candid Stewart gets her say on just how violent she wishes things got during Bella's labored labor.

"It's funny because when [the PG-13 issue] comes up, everybody thinks it's all about the sex," she says. "The birth is really effective, and I've heard it really hits you in the face. But what it could have been? It could have been shocking and grotesque, because that's how it was written in the book." She sighs: "I would have loved to have been puking up blood."

Well, there's always time for reshoots.
