· Moss don't gather on Blake Lively. The in-demand actress is apparently the front-runner to play the female lead in Oliver Stone's adaptation of Savages -- an opportunity that may prevent her from playing Glinda the Good Witch in Sam Raimi's Oz. Savages -- based on the bestseller by Don Winslow -- follows two drug dealers (Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson) who get in way over their heads; Oz is a prequel of sorts to The Wizard of Oz. Because of her commitments to Gossip Girl, Lively can likely only chose one to shoot this summer. Girl is busy. Here's one vote for Savages, but your mileage may vary. [Variety]
· This feels just about right: Alec Baldwin will head to Rome this summer to co-star with Penelope Cruz in the next Woody Allen film; Baldwin previously worked with Allen in Alice over twenty years ago.
