I Love You, Phillip Morris Wins GLAAD Media Award

On Sunday night, the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Awards held in Los Angeles honored the best in pro-gay cinema, television, and journalism. Glee and Modern Family tied for the top comedy honors (while True Blood took home the drama trophy at an earlier New York ceremony), but the undisputed film champ was I Love You, Phillip Morris, which won for Outstanding Film -- Limited Release. Let's revisit some of the movie's excellent moments, since it's a hilarious and hair-raising tale of jailbreaking romance.

First, get libidinous with Phillip (Ewan McGregor) and uber-conman Steven Russell (Jim Carrey), who connive fiendishly to visit each other's prison cells.

Here's Phillip hearing the news that Steven's on his deathbed. It's a heartbreaking acting moment for McGregor, but the reality of the situation is more uplifting and funny than you see here.

And, finally, the GLAAD Award clincher: Phillip lays it all out for Steven, who may have a couple more tricks up his sleeve yet. This movie's such a candy-colored burst of dark humor; watch it with your unincarcerated loved ones!
