And just like that, only eight teams remain in the inaugural Movieline Basketball Movie tournament. Are you sad that Juwanna Mann didn't advance to the next round? Well, then you should have voted! All four fourth seeds took the pounding they deserved in round one, but that doesn't mean there weren't a couple of surprises. Let's look at which films advanced to the Elite Eight.

Team Based Region
Glory Road played in by far the most exciting contest on Monday, barely squeaking by Blue Chips, 52 percent to 48 percent. Can Glory Road get past juggernaut -- and tournament favorite -- Hoosiers? Or will the all-white guy Hickory Huskers and all-African-American Texas Western Miners learn that this game isn't about who wins and who loses, but what we learn about ourselves? Or something like that.
Mentors Region
Both He Got Game and White Men Can't Jump had no problems thwarting off the challenges presented by Gabe Kaplan and Samuel L. Jackson. This contest, on the other hand, should prove much closer.
Family Region
Look at this! The Globetrotters had no problem whatsoever dismantling Jonathan Lipnicki and Lil' Bow Wow to pull off the minor upset. But now, it's the Globetrotters vs. Michael Jordan for a chance to go to the Final Four. (If only this was real life.)
Comedy Region
No surprises in round one for either of these films. If Semi-Pro can get by Teen Wolf (not an easy task), could this possibly lead to an all-Woody Harrelson final?
