Over the weekend, Deadline reported that Glee creator Ryan Murphy had broken off talks with Sony Pictures and Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment to direct the big screen reboot of Annie. No word yet on who will direct in his absence, but Willow Smith is still set to whip her perm as the titular little orphan. [Deadline]
