Good news, bad news on the Rock of Ages front. According to Deadline, Amy Adams is currently in discussions to take the role of a rock journalist sent to cover the flamboyant Stacee Jaxx in the film -- a part that was originally earmarked for Anne Hathaway. The bad news? Jaxx is still played by Tom Cruise, which is all sorts of wrong. If Adams does wind up in the Adam Shankman-directed Ages, she'll perform Foreigner's "I Want to Know What Love Is" with Cruise. UPDATE: Paul Giamatti is apparently in talks as well!
