Orlando Odditorium, in a release just over the wire at ML HQ.. "This piece, however, is his opus -- his 9th Symphony -- both in complexity, detail and historic scope. He has virtually told the history of the film industry in one spectacular sculpture." Hmm. "Spectacular" is one word for it.
"Gaudy," "tacky," "unsightly," "inspired" and "hilarious" are other possible descriptors for Ramos' sculpture of Arnold Schwarzenegger's Terminator -- composed entirely of elements from other high-profile films and TV series including Harry Potter, Jaws, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Simpsons, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones and more.
