While you were sleeping, Charlie Sheen wasn't. In between calling out to his Twitter followers for questions and comments, Sheen's two children were removed from his home by police after his estranged wife, Brooke Mueller, received a court order following an alleged Sheen-ified death threat: "I will cut your head off, put it in a box and send it to your mom." Deeeeeeeeeeeeeep breath.
"It's colorful," Sheen said of his alleged remarks to personal interviewer Jeff Rossen* on the Today show this morning, before denying he ever made such statements. "That's a good one I guess. [...] If you spend enough time around me, you can formulate things and make 'em sound like it could have come from my mouth. But you can do that watching reruns."
[*Poor Jeff Rossen. The guy is a journalist who is now reduced to asking Charlie Sheen about his "goddesses" on a 24/7 loop.]
Sheen was mannered about the situation with his kids during the interview with Today, claiming he wanted to negotiate with Mueller to get his children back. He was less mannered, however, when speaking to RadarOnline.com in the hours immediately after their removal.
"Tiger blood will drip from my veins in my quest [to get my kids back]," Sheen said in an interview with the site. "Defeat is not an option."
And what of Mueller? "She is an absolute traitor and she must be banished. She will be living under a bridge, toothless and confused." Yikes.
