Office Goodbye: Mindy Kaling Shares the Untold Michael Scott Stories

Sadly, it is Steve Carell's last week on the set of The Office. To commemorate this sad moment in time -- and further rub salt into the wounds of Dunder Mifflin devotees -- Mindy Kaling has taken to Twitter to rattle off all of the hilarious Michael Scott arcs that the show's writers never had time to explore. Check them out below.

Michael feels unappreciated and does a "Ms. Nelson Is Missing"-type fake horror boss. #MichaelScottStory

Michael gets Lasik but can only afford to get it done to one eye. @KenTremendous [Parks & Recration creator Michael Schur] put a stop to this one. #MichaelScottStory

Michael gets accused of something and is exonerated because there's footage of him outside The Today Show behind Al Roker #MichaelScottStory

Not a story per se, but Michael auditioning for SNL with his characters and @sethmeyers21 [Seth Meyers] gently walking him to the 30 Rock exit was a dream

There was a full day of pitching on Michael Scott meeting Markie Post at the mall, accomplishing a life-long dream #MichaelScottStories

For reference, the "Ms. Nelson is Missing" one seems like a total slam dunk. As does the Markie Post conceit, if only because Markie Post is the ideal crush for Michael Scott to carry over from the '80s. Can you think of a funnier storyline for Dunder Mifflin's departing King of Blunders?
