The margin is so close -- just a couple hundred thousand dollars -- that it may change by the time the final numbers roll in on Monday. Critics have rightly been cruel to this horribly lazy, mirth-free stinker. But the audience of Cinemascore gave it an A-! And women gave it an A! Whaaaaaa???? Oh, America. I am deeply, deeply disappointed in you. Don't make me get Britain in here again to whip you into shape!

2. Justin Bieber: Never Say Never

Perhaps I just haven't seen it yet, but I thought there would be a mash-up between the trailer for this movie and Sean Connery's rebel Bond movie, Never Say Never Again. C'mon, internet! Bieber could end up with Kim Basinger!

James McAvoy occupies the same mushy part of my heart that Christina Hendricks, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and the movie Clue does. But James, laddie, you are pushing it with this gnome business. I'm just gonna close my eyes and think of Professor X.

4. The Eagle

Every bar called The Eagle that I've ever seen before has been, without fail, a gay leather bar. This isn't to cast aspersions on the movie. I'm just predicting where it's going to play in heavy rotation once it comes out on DVD.

5. The Roommate

Weeks: 2 (change: -44.0%)

Since Burlesque couldn't do it, I'm happy that The Roommate has a shot of becoming this generation's campy classic. Congrats all around guys! Wire hangers for everybody!
