With Dana Carvey hosting, Saturday Night Live basically split into two separate shows: The Dana Carvey show from 1989, and the 2011 show which, unfortunately, took a back seat to nostalgia. Carvey was pretty much the star of every sketch, regulating a lot of the usual names at the top of this poll to second fiddle -- yet allowing many of the lesser-used cast members to get their shot.

On the surface, Brittain doesn't seem like he would be number one, but who else had as memorable of a role who wasn't in the shadow of Dana Carvey or Justin Bieber? Hopefully we haven't seen the last of Brittain's Franco.

Hey, how about Abby Elliott! From yesterday's comments it would appear that her "Bad News" sketch was either love it or hate, but, in terms of her ranking, it doesn't matter -- Abby was everywhere this week: "Bad News," Anna Faris and as a Kardashian.
Hader seems to have chosen this week to be in as many Dana Carvey sketches as humanly possible, which meant he was never going to be the lead. And even though the sketch itself was terrible, Hader's Alan Alda remains tremendous.
Kristen Wiig introduced the world to Angela Dixon, a former disco queen turned meteorologist. Also, she reprised the role of Kathie Lee Gifford in the Regis sketch -- a character that was kind of considered dead after the last two cast members to play Hoda Kotb (Jenny Slate and Michaela Watkins) were both let go from the show.
Eddie Murphy. Yep, that's pretty much it -- but it's a great Eddie Murphy.
Co-hosted the awful "Pageant Preview" sketch, and that was about it (not counting the "i-Sleep Pro" repeat).
Showed up as a Kardashian and in some of the ensemble sketches playing minor roles.
