Can you explain why "The Roommate" is a surprise number one when it was predicted to be number one by Movieline yesterday?

  • Dixon Gaines says:

Mais oui. We are not the Borg here at Movieline. S.T. thought it would barely edge Sanctum for number one, I thought it would land at number 4 or 5. Neither one of us, I think, would have thought it would make nearly double the next nearest movie in its first night. So: surprise. And I can't believe I'm expending this much wordspace to talk about the freaking Roommate

This movie was taken from "Single White Female" with Bridget Fonda. Nothing new, but plenty of rehash!!!!

I'm sorry for putting you through that. 🙂
Especially since I have no desire to ever watch the movie...
