Keith Olbermann suspended his Twitter account on Thursday after being inundated by people upset with the way he and Michael Moore discussed the rape accusations levied against WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on Tuesday. Most of the blowback was directed at Moore from the site Tiger Beatdown (they created a hashtag called #mooreandme), but Olbermann got caught in the fray for agreeing with his guest, and for retweeting an article which identified the alleged victims' names. "I'll suspend this account until/if this frenzy is stopped," Olbermann wrote, presumably through crocodile tears. [THR]
