Threat Alert: Mark Ruffalo Added to Terror Watch List

Add Actor Mark Ruffalo to the long list of threats to America's security. Apparently the Kids Are Alright actor's work organizing screenings of the anti-drilling documentary GasLand landed him a spot on the U.S. terror watch list. So yes, the Department of Homeland Security probably spent the holiday having a Mark Ruffalo viewing party as preliminary research. Hopefully they got the director's cut of Ride with the Devil; it really is much better. But assuming that this isn't a mistake, it begs the question: How many other politically outspoken directors and actors are on this list?

As of 2009, the watch list had hit 1 million names. If Ruffalo is on for efforts to screen a documentary about controversial drilling methods, can't we safely add Brian De Palma for Redacted, Doug Liman for Fair Game and Oliver Stone for almost everything? Humanitarian activists like Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie should probably watch out as well. Plus there are all of the actors and actresses who worked with each of those directors previously - any one of them could be a co-conspirator! What if half of this list is comprised of our favorite entertainers?

According to Ruffalo though, no one needs to panic. He told GQ he finds the situation "pretty f*ckin' funny." Then again, that's coming from someone who is on the terror watch list, and therefore, not to be trusted. Help!
