Resident Evil: Afterlife Sets New Record For Canadian Films

Having surpassed $280 million worldwide, Resident Evil: Afterlife is now the highest grossing Canadian production of all time. I know that sounds a bit sad in a cultural-void type of way, but consider that the previous record was held by Porky's. Sure, you could split hairs about which film is less worthwhile (I'll personally take any Bob Clark movie over a 3-D sequel), but maybe we should just call it a draw and move on for today.
