Dancing with the Stars: Was Jennifer Grey's 'Perfect 10' Rumba Enough to Secure Her Win?

Dancing with the Stars tried to trip up its combatants last night with randomly chosen accompaniment, but viewers expecting Wipeout!-level faceplants were out of luck. Even Bristol Palin drummed up decent scores while tangoing to the Pussycat Dolls' naughty "Buttons." (Dancing, you sly dog!) But Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough scored the night's only 30-point dance, and right now I'm in the mood to declare the Dirty Dancing heroine the unbeatable champion.

Her 27-point quickstep was about as admirable, save a minor misstep that Bruno and Carrie Ann noted.

There's the minor issue of Brandy, who posed a significant threat with her 29- and 28-point dances, but is there any doubt that voters love Jennifer Grey more? Kurt Warner and Kyle Massey lack both the firepower and starpower (on the floor) to take it home, and producers will fire the phone company before Bristol Palin can win and shed a rather grim light on the show's proceedings. Plus, viewers totally want to see Jennifer bring out Baby for a climactic "(I've Had) the Time of My Life" dance. You can't put a lithe, 50-year-old trooper in a corner.

And for kicks, here's the lowest-scoring dance of the night, brought to you by auteur Bristol Palin.

Come back tomorrow for our weekly chat with Erin Andrews and to find out who got voted off.
