Good news, ladies. You've been begging the movie gods for years to pair Jennifer Aniston with Adam Sandler in a romantic comedy where she, as a cynical single mother, plays the pretend wife to his bikini model-sexing plastic surgeon. Well, finally, finally, dear readers, that movie here. Ready to suspend all disbelief for your first taste of Just Go With It?
OK, so it doesn't look nearly as stupid as I -- or let's face it, this movie's premise -- sets it up to be. Aniston plays the sensible best friend who may think better but still goes along with her lovable pal (Sandler), even when he drags her into the plot of a ridiculous faux former marriage to please his hot fiancee (played by Sports Illustrated model Brooklyn Decker). Aniston and Sandler may have zero romantic chemistry, but they've got that joke-y eye-roll routine down pat, and that is worth more than most date night movies these days. It at least looks better than Grown Ups.
VERDICT: Because there is only one crotch-punching joke in this trailer, I'm in!
