They say tragedy comes in threes, and that's proven once again with today's collection of repellent videos. First, it was the teaser for Bridalplasty; then the Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son trailer. Yet if you didn't think things could get any worse, Warner Bros. was kind enough to release another look at Yogi Bear. To quote Henry Hill: This is the bad time.
By now you probably know the story: Yogi Bear is a mixture of CGI and live action, with Dan Aykroyd and Justin Timberlake voicing Yogi and Boo-Boo. Tom Cavanagh and Anna Faris provide a human presence -- and presumably were paid untold millions more than Aykroyd and Timberlake, since they acutally have to show their faces -- while the script provides gastrointestinal jokes. Sample, after an explosive burp: "I have problems with potato salad." If you can make it through this trailer without stopping, more power to you.
VERDICT: The horror...the horror.
