· Darren Aronofsky is attached to develop and direct something called Machine Man, and adaptation of a novel about a gadget geek and engineer who replaces his body parts with high-power titanium. Think 127 Hours meets Iron Man. Or think RoboCop, Aronofsky's rumored Paul Verhoeven remake that seems to be dead in the water at this point. [Deadline]
· Producer Graham King is reportedly in "active negotiations" to acquire feature-adaptation rights to Michael Jackson's blockbuster hit Thriller. Kenny Ortega, who handled the posthumous MJ concert doc This Is It, would direct. [Deadline]
· As long as Wesley Snipes isn't in prison, the man will be working. But this? Master Daddy, a self-described "multi-racial action comedy [...] mix of Kung Fu Hustle and Meet the Parents"? Hoo boy.
