You Wanted It, You (Probably) Got It: Jackass 3.5 On the Way

"I'm glad the Jackass guys don't churn out a new movie each year," wrote Stephanie Zacharek on Friday, "because by the time I reach the end of each one, I do feel I've had enough for a while." Sorry, Stephanie! Johnny Knoxville has news for you.

Thanks to last weekend's massive Jackass 3D opening, those very guys are said to be planing Jackass 3.5 this winter. "We shot two movies' worth of footage," Knoxville told the LAT. "We have so many bits that we never even turned in to Paramount because we were so swamped with ideas -- funny stuff. The bits were just coming out of us left and right." The 'Mount had considered a Web release similar to Jackass 2.5 in 2006, but is expected to announce some kind of theatrical plan in the days ahead. Ouch. [LAT]
