We've got 11 top-notch (some with a wink, I admit) programming options for this gloriously autumnal week. Will Tracy Jordan jump in a pile of leaves and flash back to a terrifying childhood accident? Will Audrina Patridge bring back some musical greatness from The Hills? And will Alicia Florrick come undone on The Good Wife? Join Movieline for a rundown of this week's best viewing.
Dancing with the Stars [Monday, 8 PM, ABC]
Say what you will about DWTS's cheesiness, but this show comes up with cute theme weeks; this time it's TV theme songs. Will Audrina Patridge boogie down to "Unwritten"? Will Florence Henderson tackle some Brady goodness? (Perhaps The Brady Brides?!) And will Jennifer Grey perform better here or on tonight's episode of House? Join us on Wednesday when we talk with DWTS alum Erin Andrews about all the bedazzled zaniness.
Hawaii Five-0 [Monday, 10 PM, CBS]
A U.S. ambassador's daughter is found murdered near the Waikiki coast, and her sister's also been kidnapped. Hopefully Scot Caan will solve this using unsmiling cockiness and a fabulous theme song.
Weeds [Tuesday, 9 PM, Showtime]
It premieres on Monday night, but just watch it on Tuesday: The baby gets ill and Nancy seeks out a pediatrician. Fear not, the other Botwins remain resourceful and look for business at a children's concert.
The Good Wife [Tuesday, 10 PM, CBS]
Alicia finds herself in an ethics scandal that threatens to tarnish Peter's campaign. Time for some of that Carol Hathaway grit, Julianna.
Modern Family [Wednesday, 9 PM, ABC]
I predict great things this week: The Dunphys go without electronic devices, Gloria becomes enraged with a neighbor's barking dog, and Mitchell and Cameron find a preschool for Lily.
The Whole Truth [Wednesday, 10 PM, ABC]
Jimmy must defend a 16-year-old who is accused of murdering his mother and trying to kill his father. The teen confessed to the crime, but something's suspicious about the methods used to provoke that confession.
Community [Thursday, 8 PM, NBC]
Pierce makes the stunning realization that he's the oldest member in his study group and thinks about joining an older clan. Come to think of it, maybe Chevy Chase is my favorite part of this series. Talk about stunning realizations.
30 Rock [Thursday, 8:30 PM, NBC]
Jack tries to save Liz and Carol's relationship (which was slightly damaged during last week's live episode) and Jenna enlists the real Kelsey Grammer for a special task.
Project Runway [Thursday, 10 PM, Lifetime]
In the first part of the season eight finale, Mondo, Andy, Gretchen, and Michael C. battle for three spots on the final runway. Seems pretty clear Mondo's going to take it all, but I will pout on April Johnston's behalf as he wins.
Jersey Shore [Thursday, 10 PM, MTV]
The Situation, Snooki, JWOWW, her boyfriend, and Pauly D start separate fights that percolate into one large melee (or so I'm hoping, based on the previews) in the second season finale. Ready for the arrival of new cast member Deena Nicole Cortes in season three? Ready to accept that JWOWW is the greatest Jersey Shore cast member? Am I moving too fast for you?
School Pride [Friday, 8 PM, NBC]
The show heads down to Baton Rouge, joins forces with Teach for America, and helps renovate an elementary school. You'll remember that Cheryl Hines is plenty more open about this show than the upcoming season of Curb Your Enthusiasm for some unknown reason.
