Discuss: Angus T. Jones Now Makes $300,000 Per Episode of Two and a Half Men
Happy birthday, Angus T. Jones. The Half portion of the hit CBS comedy Two and a Half Men turns 17 today and to celebrate, he's gotten himself a brand new contract. According to TMZ, Jones' new deal with CBS will pay him $300,000 per episode, which translates into $7.8 million per year. Insert caveats about how this is America and capitalism here, then click ahead to see which television stars Jones' deal leaves in the financial dust.
It's an apples-to-oranges comparison -- let's bear in mind that Two and a Half Men is still one of the biggest shows on television -- but just look at some of the people Jones tops on the earnings list: Jon Hamm, Tom Selleck, Julianne Margulies, Patrick Dempsey, Edie Falco and Jane Lynch. Oh, and Betty White, too. (Head explodes.)
Anyway, good for him and happy birthday. Don't go spending all that money in one place, OK?

As old as Angus T. Jones is now, it's more like "Two Men in a Rest Home and Their Son Who Does Not Care"
If that kid doesn't stop eating, they'll need to call it 3 and a half men
Like it or not, the show has better ratings than the others, so Angus should get his share. But save it, kid! Talent aside, if history's any indication this is likely to be your last big acting gig--play your cards right and you can retire on that pile!
