Next Week: Join Wes Craven and Movieline at the Apple Store SoHo!

Only one more Wes Craven film to go before Scream 4 makes its much-anticipated debut, but let's not be so hasty to look past My Soul to Take -- the legendary horror filmmaker's new movie (opening Oct. 8) and his first in 3-D. In fact, how about we talk it over with Craven next week at the Apple Store SoHo in NYC?

Held up for a year for conversion to 3-D, My Soul to Take is also Craven's return to writing and directing after a 16-year hiatus. The film tracks the lives (and, sure the occasional bloody deaths) of seven young people all born on the same day their community's most notorious serial killer -- the Ripper -- was allegedly slain. If only he had been! Craven and actor Max Thieiriot will drop in Monday to explain further, screen a few clips, and take your questions about this and anything else you can conjure from Craven's nearly 40-year career. Swamp Thing? Hell yes. Music of the Heart? If you must.

The event is free, and seating is first-come, first-served. We'll see you there!

When: Monday, Oct. 4

Time: 7 p.m.

Where: Apple Store SoHo

103 Prince Street (at Greene St.)

Cost: Exactly $0. But arrive early!
