Fox Cancels Lone Star

LoneStar120.jpgTo the surprise of absolutely no one, Fox has announced that they've canceled Lone Star effective immediately. It will be replaced on the schedule by Lie to Me starting next week. If you're feeling blue, don't worry: Star James Wolk has just the thing to make you feel better. In the meantime: This sucks. [THR/The Live Feed]

Dammit! I had My Generation in the pool as the first to go.

PS, if you're looking for something to fill the void, I suggest Raising Hope.

    YES! This.

So which will be the next to go? There's more boring and far crappier new shows that deserve a quick death.

I thought this show was boring and rather lame. But perhaps when things got going full steam it would have gotten a little better.
But I knew it wouldn't have the chance if only because the ratings system has become total bunk. The system is based on the idea that a mere 25k people are an accurate representation of the personal tastes of millions of people. Which is a totally false assumption and an unneeded one in this day of high tech. Desire, not technology, is what is keeping Nielsen from expanding the sample for more accurate numbers
