Sarah Silverman Goes Full-Frontal, and 5 Other Stories You'll Be Talking About Today

Welcome to the Broadsheet, a new, daily Movieline feature gathering some of the morning's top stories from film, TV and the rest of our glorious culture. In today's talking points, Sarah Silverman teases her forthcoming nude breakthrough, Community gets animated, Robin Williams gets serious, Randy Quaid has a brand-new mug shot, and more...

· According to a brief interview with Moviefone, Sarah Silverman has contributed her first nude scene to Sarah Polley's upcoming writing-directing effort Take This Waltz, currently in post-production. "I go totally naked," the comedienne said. "Full-frontal. It's going to be awful. It's so not pretty." I'd put the chances of Silverman pranking us at around 64 percent; your estimates are welcome as well. [Moviefone]

· A few months after Community creator Dan Harmon suggested his comedy would eventually feature an animated episode, members of his cast have confirmed that a holiday special will in fact be animated in stop-motion Rankin/Bass style. "It's like that Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer special that you see every Christmas," Danny Pudi explained. "But in true Community fashion, it's also a little subversive and a little dark." Whatever. Animated Alison Brie is just about the coolest thing I've heard since... well, Sarah Silverman was doing a nude scene in Sarah Polley's new movie. Onward! [EW]

· "His bearing is intensely Zen and almost mournful, and when he's not putting on voices he speaks in a low, tremulous baritone - as if on the verge of tears - that would work very well if he were delivering a funeral eulogy," reports a new Guardian profile of Robin Williams. "He seems gentle and kind - even tender - but the overwhelming impression is one of sadness." Looks like someone needs a meme. [Guardian]

· Krazy kouple Randy and Evi Quaid tumbled a little further down the rabbit hole of extralegal hijinks, landing in jail once again on burglary charges after being discovered squatting in their old house. [AP

· Congrats to newlyweds Kelly McGillis and Melanie Leis, who were joined in a civil union Sept. 15 in New Jersey. And then congrats to McGillis on her new film Stake Land, which found a warm reception Friday night following its premiere in Toronto. Comeback city? [NYT]

· Hackers "enraged by an escalation in anti-piracy efforts" busted into the MPAA's Web site over the weekend, shutting it down for the, oh, 20 or so folks who sought to browse it Saturday. Way to choose your targets, guys. [AP]
