The date Oct. 30 had special significance in yesterday's P.M. programming. For starters, Jon Hamm discussed his Saturday Night Live hosting gig taking place on that date -- and then addressed those ugly Superman rumors. Elsewhere, Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert announced that they will be storming the National Mall on the same day to host a rally in the nation's capital. Meanwhile, in unrelated late night news, Ben Affleck reunited with Jimmy Kimmel and William Shatner made Craig Ferguson uncomfortable by talking at length about cigars.
4. Back Together Again
I'm F*cking Ben Affleck co-stars Jimmy Fallon and uh, Ben Affleck, reunited last night on ABC to discuss Ben's insecurities and a few Fenway memories.
3. William Shatner's Guide to Cigar Smoking
To the delight of Craig Ferguson, William Shatner tested the boundaries of cigar-related sexual innuendo on last night's Late Late Show. In other news, it does not seem like Captain Kirk seems too pleased with $#*! My Dad Says.
2. Comedy Central Takes Washington
Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert made special appearances on each others' shows last night to announce a joint rally in D.C. on Oct. 30. Stewart's leg will be called the "Rally to Restore Sanity" while Colbert will headline the "March to Keep Fear Alive" segment.
