The (Haunted) Jury is Out on M. Night Shyamalan's Next Film

shyamalan_40_120.jpgCongratulations, Daniel Stamm. Soon you, too, will be able to see your movie get laughed at by hordes of M. Night Shyamalan haters. After weeks of speculation, it was confirmed today that The Last Exorcism director will helm Reincarnate, the second installment in the Shyamalan-produced Night Chronicles. The film will focus on a jury that is haunted by supernatural forces, much like Stamm may be haunted by his producer's troubled reputation. [Deadline]

Every movie Shyamalan has made since "The Sixth Sense" has been an intelligence-insulting train wreck. I cannot for the life of me comprehend how he is still working in film. He desperately, at this point, needs to disappear from the industry (preferrably along with Paul W.S. Anderson and Uwe Boll).

  • The Winchester says:

I love how obvious it is where Shyamalan crafts these Night Chronicle ideas. "It's a horror movie about an elevator! It's a horror movie about a jury!"
Next flick will be a horror movie about a 20 minute oil change.

The twist is that it takes 30 minutes and the main character ends up missing his very important business type meeting.
    THE HORROR!
