Looks Like Conan's Keeping The Beard: First Conan Print Ad Revealed

Now that Conan O'Brien has finally named his return to late night television, the biggest question remaining about his TBS show was centered on facial hair. Namely: Might Coco retain his unemployment beard when he re-enters the ranks of the employed on November 8? As the first print ad for Conan proves, he sure will. Below, check out the still-hirsute Conan plugging his new show with an owl straight out of Harry Potter. No razors required for this one.

  • So am I looking at this picture wrong - or did they just spoil the end of the movie where we find out who the Guardian of Ga'hoole is?

Not so fast. The author must be unaware of Conan's past history of the use of his beard. He used it before with the writers' strike. When the writers were on strike, he had a "strike beard." As soon as the strike was over, or shortly thereafter, he shaved his beard. Until he returns to TV on TBS in November the NBC strike still remains on, and hence, he must keep the beard. My best guess is that he will drop the beard in November, not before, not after.
