TNT is finally moving forward with that Dallas reboot you were (not really) hoping for. As announced last December, Cane creator Cynthia Cidre is penning the project, which will center on the sons of bitter rivals JR and Bobby Ewing. Filming will begin shortly on the pilot, which is said to guest-star original cast members Larry Hagman, Linda Gray, and Patrick Duffy. No word yet on who will portray the next generation Ewings, or if this will suffer from the same problems as similarly schizophrenic reboots like 90210 and Melrose Place. [Vulture]
