Michael Bay Will Not Tolerate Puppycide, Offers $50,000 Reward for Culprit

Look out, Evil Hoodied Puppy-Drowning Girl (and your camera-wielding accomplice)! No less an influential man-hunting force than Michael Bay is coming after you for justice -- not in that underwhelming golf cart of his, either, but with a much more intimidating weapon: His wallet.

In a post since removed from his blog, Bay placed a $50,000 bounty on the head of the young lady who flung a cluster of squealing puppies into a river, one of the more stomach-turning acts of animal cruelty to be caught on tape (and disseminated globally) in, oh, ever. Gawker has all the latest on the crowd-sourced hunt for the despicable duo and was on the scene first when Bay, via his webmaster, put his money where his shocked, gaping mouth is:

Nelson here...

There is a disturbing video going around the news outlets. It's a video of blonde young woman in a red sweatshirt casually tossing squealing puppies into the fast-moving river one by one.

Michael Bay has informed me that he is offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and successful prosecution of the woman in the red sweatshirt and the person who shot this act of cruelty.

If you have any information, please e-mail me at webmaster@michaelbay.com.

OK, Uwe Boll, your turn.

What is supposed to be so fucking hilarious about this story? Oh, yeah, I remember now: his movies are not good. So, ha ha, fuck him.

  • S.T. VanAirsdale says:

I dunno about hilarious, and I'm not one to sit around bashing easy targets, but Michael Bay offering $50K for a puppy-killer on his blog -- when the culprit has possibly already been exposed elsewhere -- is surreal at the very least and kind of hubristic par for the course.

  • The Winchester says:

Once Bay gives me the $12 for wasting my time with that "Transforming Robot Piece of Crap 2: Three Hours of My Life I Don't Get Back", then I'll get behind this.

  • Will says:

How much has he offered to find people who've killed other people?

  • Brian says:

Enough with the "we shouldn't help animals until all human suffering has been ended" crap, asshole.

  • stolidog says:

I'm not sure if people like you understand that when you post that annoying indignation crap about it's just an animal what about people, everyone else in the room becomes instantly aware that you are undoubtedly an animal abuser. And we despise you for it.

  • Brian says:

You said it better Stolidog. Thanks.

  • mmm says:

I find the faux rage at this hilarious. All these people wouldn't care one whit about it or know if she had been doing this for years, nor do they seem to ask why she did it, they just demand that the animals get justice, because OH NO, THE VIDEO MADE ME SAD.
Get real. The guy asking about real murderers is right. You don't have to be an animal abuser to question the logic that OMG TEH PUPPIES are more important because they're in a movie than actual humans who are not.
It's beyond ludicrous, and having people support the position is beyond absurd. I'm sorry it's "annoying" to have your lack of humanity pointed out, but yes, it's there, and it's disgusting. The hypocrisy in your blatant lack of concern for other people reeks.
Get over it, and stop pretending you care.

  • Andy says:

I guess the people in defense of dogs here are the usual PETA nuts - you can't even argue with these people. They are not able to see a difference between human suffering and the suffering of animals. For them the suffering of animals is actually much more horrifying. I really can't understand how their brains work - whether it's a strange form of self-hatred that makes them despise human beings so much or just some kind of delusion. No, I'm not an animal abuser - and I'm against people treating animals badly - but I'm also against witch hunting and people having this superiority complex because they support PETA and organizations like that. Anyone who has seen those Holocaust advertisements from PETA knows that these people are insane and dangerous - they have no empathy for other human beings at all.

  • stolidog says:

MMM and Andy, two idiots in a pod.

  • dog lover says:

Dogs love unconditionally. All of you who are saying rude things that actually sound in favor of the video are cold hearted human beings. I'm guessing none of you have ever had a pet from reading some of the posts on here. If you haven't owned a dog you should look into it, it will soften your hearts a little and you will understand that it's not "just a dog." I'm not a member of PETA but i don't think they are crazy, and all they are trying to do is stop animal cruelty. If you read any sort of true crime stories, you will find that if the book is about a person that kills people they almost always start out by hurting/killing animals then move on to killing people... Just saying..

  • sherill blankenship says:

I think all animal abusers that get caught should be dealt the same punishment that they gave the animals. Throw her off the bridge (but rescue her) and I bet she'll never do it again. Dog fighters should be put in a pen with a mean pit bull and get chewed on for awhile, and people who chain dogs with embeded collars and no waterr, let their punishment be the same, all this crap will stop

  • What a wonderful idea. I am not totally sure if that is true, but who knows. Would you be kind enough to write another post, but from the opposing vantage point.
