Jimmy Fallon Blames NBC For Being Stingy, Squandering His Glee-tastic Emmy Opening

fallon_emmys_120.jpgInstead of enjoying the fruits of his successful Emmy-hosting labor, Jimmy Fallon is stewing over NBC's refusal to secure the online repurposing rights to Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." Because of this legal oversight, NBC is unable to post Jimmy's Glee-ful Emmy opening -- the highlight of the telecast -- online.

"That could have been worth 500,000 hits on NBC.com," the technology-forward host told Daily Variety yesterday. "People are looking for it. We worked so hard on it and it's our own network, and it's a good commercial for our network. It's so simple, just pay for it." For now, watch Jon Hamm fist pump, Tina Fey dirty dance, and Lost's Hurley burn calories here. [Variety]

Get over yourself, Fallon. It wasn't that great.

No, but his disciples would watch it over and over again and, he's right, it's good advertising for NBC.

  • Adam says:

NBC is full of mistakes and doesn't know how to respond to the new generation.

I think Fallon did great in the opening of the Emmys, he's Underated, while the no talent at all people are overated and successful, i have seen worse in films/tv. It's ridiculous, it's a crazy world, it all has to do with Money.

i remember when performers of irish descent actually had talent. fallon is an overblown hack who has himself as his biggest fan. obviously the casting couch sees no difference between the sexes.
