Which New Shows Are Advertisers Betting Will Pull On Viewers' Heartstrings (and Open Their Wallets)?

Critics may have had a hard time believing that $#*! My Dad Says will be worthwhile viewing this fall but advertisers are already predicting that the profane Twitter-feed-turned-television-show starring William Shatner will develop one of the deepest emotional connections with its audience this season among new programs. Can you guess which other new network shows advertisers are gambling will pull on your heartstrings this autumn?

According to The Live Feed, which cites a report by advertiser market analyst NewMediaMetric, two freshman CBS series will gauge the "deepest emotional attachment" among viewers watching new programs this September. In addition to $#*! My Dad Says -- which has already been red-flagged by critics, the Parents Television Council and network executives (the pilot is being re-shot before its premiere) -- NewMediaMetric forecasts that the Hawaii Five-0 reboot will resonate with viewers as well.

After Hawaii, which realistically could subliminally hook an audience based on an extensive ringtone campaign by CBS, NewMediaMetric wagers that Fox's sitcoms Running Wilde and Raising Hope (which, coincidentally, are both also being re-shot) and Chuck Lorre's latest sitcom Mike & Molly at CBS will round out the list.

NewMediaMetrics surveyed over 3,000 people between the ages of 18-54. Among returning shows this fall, the report forecasting that CBS' Two and a Half Men would rank as the top-rated new series, followed by The Big Bang Theory and Glee.
