Friday Night Lights's fourth season comes to a close tonight, just a few weeks ahead of the Emmys when its stars Kyle Chandler and Connie Britton may win some much-deserved adulation. In the meantime, prepare for a snack for some gut-wrenching drama tonight. If you're a little lamer, Wife Swap is on too.
Friday Night Lights [NBC, 8 PM]
In "Thanksgiving," the Taylors host a turkey-centric feast and good old Matt Saracen (the Emmy-unanointed Zach Gilford) returns. We also find out what happens to the lovably floppy-haired Tim (Taylor Kitsch).
Wife Swap [ABC, 8 PM]
A gymnastics-obsessed family switches moms with a lower-key klatch of kickball devotees. I hope Bela Karolyi is quoted several times.
The Singing Bee [CMT, 8 PM]
I cannot be held responsible for how little new TV there is tonight.
Down and Out in Beverly Hills [Style, 8 PM]
Nick Nolte plays a bum -- but wait, hear me out -- who takes up residence with a rich couple (Bette Midler, Richard Dreyfuss) and entertains them enough to stick around. Little Richard co-stars, because that's awesome.
