Guess Which Celebrity Scandal Will Factor in the Law & Order: Los Angeles Season Premiere

That was quick! Just a week after Dick Wolf told the assembled television critics of the TCA that he would not be opposed to using celebrity scandals for Law & Order: Los Angeles plots, the veteran executive producer has made good on his promise: A celebrity scandal will be at the center of the series premiere. But which one?

According to TVGuide.com, the series premiere of LOLA will feature a case "involving a young Hollywood star named Chelsea and a wannabe actor named Sam." There are also parents involved and some evil villain named Manto, who's played by Oded Fehr of The Mummy fame.

So! What celebrity scandal could those details describe? Certainly neither Mel Gibson nor Lindsay Lohan (despite the presence of what I'll assume is a suffocating stage mother). No, I'll say this is a take on the "Burglar Bunch" and that "Chelsea" is a stand-in for Pretty Wild star Alexis Neiers. But, hey, what do I know? The floor is yours, dear Movieline readers: What ripped from the headlines storyline did Wolf find for Law & Order: Los Angeles?
