Just In Time For Nanny McPhee Returns, Emma Thompson Goes Naked on Her Web Site

emma_thompson_mcphee_225.jpgIn less than three weeks, the family comedy Nanny McPhee Returns is released, but if you can't wait that long for it, fret not. Today, you can see more of its stars Emma Thompson and Maggie Gyllenhaal -- much more.

Thompson is readying a book where famous women discuss the places where they feel most safe, and she's launched a NSFW website touting some of its celebrity contributions in a bid to solicit more. You may not be surprised by most of the choices (turns out, these wealthy actresses really like being ensconced in their Malibu bedrooms), though many are beautifully shot or, in the case of the late Natasha Richardson, inadvertently touching.

What may surprise you, though, is that Thompson and Gyllenhaal both enjoyed floating nude in the water, and neither had any qualms about being photographed in that state for all the world to see. I feel so bad for the poor Huffington Post headline writer who has to decide which story to prioritize here: a haunting Natasha Richardson photo, or Emma Thompson and Maggie Gyllenhaal showing off safe places that are unsafe for work.

UPDATE [Aug. 4]: And, alas, they are unsafe for Movieline as well. We've complied with a request to remove the photos; they are still available in all their glory at the Web site below.

For Helen Mirren's entry, I think she thought they said My Sex Place.

Sadly, it doesn't look like they aren't safe for the web either -- that URL link is down. Maybe the demand for naked Emma has crashed it?

  • I find your blog a little too lengthy. I acknowledge the time you spent writing it. Thank you for all the efforts.

How can Nanny McPhee return? She marries at the end of the first movie. I don't make sense

  • Nanny Agency says:

Thespian Emma Thompson has declared that her character Nanny McPhee is a lot like Clint Eastwood's westerns.... rides into town, beats up the bad guys, rides off into the sunset. Perhaps this sequel should have been called 'For a Few Nannies More'!

Does Paris Hilton actually think that we all believe she thought the cocaine was candy. When she fails the drug test, how is she going to explain that?? She's 29 and continues to be a party hound. Running in the fast lane for the rich and famous isn't that much different for real people of the world.

  • Where could we go to have an extramarital affair? It seems to me that married ladies and mated men gazing to have affairs all go to the same mated dating websites. I believe that its a excellent thing plus no one should have to remain loyal to a marriage they dislike very strongly.
