TCA: The 6 Funniest Moments From the Running Wilde Panel

Even if Arrested Development creator Mitch Hurwitz's new pilot Running Wilde hasn't gotten many positive reviews from critics, this morning's TCA panel was a success, thanks to the quick wits of Hurwitz, Will Arnett and costar Peter Serafinowicz. Here are the six funniest exchanges from the Beverly Hilton ballroom that may still convince you to tune into the Fox series this fall.

1. Discussing how down-to-earth Keri Russell is, Hurwitz and Arnett described the day they found out that the actress washes her own sheets:

ARNETT: "We were so shocked by this. Mitch came into our room and was like, 'Guess who is doing her own laundry?' We all had $200 laundry bills."

HURWITZ: "In fact, you paid someone to get your laundry dirty, didn't you?"

ARNETT: "Yes, that's what took it up to $200."

2. On whether or not Russell has a "haircut clause" in her contract in light of the Felicity mane drama, Arnett deadpanned, "We did pitch to Keri that [in] episode two, we cut her hair."

3. Hurwitz and Arnett joked about future Running Wilde guest star David Cross's involvement in Arrested Development:

HURWITZ: "I don't think David Cross was on Arrested Development."

ARNETT: "He was."

HURWITZ: "Oh, what did he play?"

ARNETT: "He played Gary."

4. Interrupting a critic's question, Will Arnett said, "Wait a second. My Canadar is going off. You are Canadian, correct?"

5. "I think Fox has come such a long way since the days when they just did documentaries about foxes," joked co-star Peter Serafinowicz.

6. After a critic asked about the possibility that Wilde may get canceled, Hurwitz joked, "I hope we get canceled. I am actually hoping for that."
