Lowe partnered with Colony Capital chairman Tom Barrack and Ron Tutor in their purchase of Miramax Films from Disney. · In the tradition of Dinner for Schmucks -- that being, remaking a recent-history overseas film for American audiences -- Warner Bros. is going ahead with a remake of Wild About Harry. The 2000 Irish comedy starred Brendan Gleeson as a TV chef who gets beaten up on the eve of his divorce hearing and awakens with partial amnesia that doesn't allow him to remember anything past his 18th birthday. Sounds like the sequel to 17 Again that Zac Efron has been waiting for! [Variety]
· Brian Geraghty (The Hurt Locker), Josh Peck and Margarita Levieva will co-star in ATM. The thriller will find the three playing co-workers who go to get money out of an ATM, only to wind up trapped inside by an unknown man and fighting for their lives.
