TV Bites: Parenthood Arrives For Billy Baldwin

In this morning's other TV Bites: Parenthood brings back another guest star... AMC casts up its latest drama... The Old Spice Guy makes Chuck look good... and more ahead.

· Further proof you can never have too many Baldwins on one network. NBC has added Alec's brother Billy Baldwin to the cast of Parenthood, in a recurring guest star role as Peter Krause's on-screen boss. Baldwin's character will also be positioned as a potential love interest for Lauren Graham's Sarah, so expect some fireworks. [HitFix]

· And speaking of fireworks, Parenthood will also bring back former Friday Night Lights heartbreaker Minka Kelly in season two. [HitFix]

· The cast for AMC's next big drama pilot is falling into place. Just a day after hiring rapper/actor Common, Hell on Wheels has settled on its leads: Anson Mount and Dominique McElligott. The western about the building of the Transcontinental Railroad will find Mount playing Cullen, "a former slave owner and a Confederate soldier determined to avenge the rape/murder of his beloved wife by tracking and killing the Union soldiers who killed her." McElligott is Lily, a frontierswoman taking care of her sick husband. So, it's a comedy, right? [Deadline]

· NCIS: Los Angeles has hired Eric Christian Olsen as a series regular. The "That Guy" staple was a recurring guest star last season. [Zap2it]

· Meanwhile, Chuck continues its guest star parade. The Old Spice Guy, Isaiah Mustafa, will appear next season as a C.I.A. agent. Look, he's on a horse. [THR]
