What's On: Lordin' Ramsay

Gordon Ramsay debuts his newest way to humiliate chefs tonight in the form of MasterChef. Will it be yet another triumph for this outstanding reality host, or will we finally find ourselves oversaturated with his huffing and puffing?

Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D List [Bravo, 10 PM]

Kathy devotes proper time to renovating her house. Tom's sleep-disorder pills have strange side-effects as Kathy finds him rummaging through her junk food in the middle of the night -- while still asleep. He is one titillating trichotillomaniac. Look it up!

MasterChef [Fox, 9 PM]

Gordon Ramsay turns the ovens (of his temper! Bah-haw.) up to 700+ as a fleet of chefs compete for his affection and the title of MasterChef. With the burners that high, he should consider calling the show Kiln Me Softly or something similar. I mean, honestly.

The Colony [Discovery, 9 PM]

The second season kicks off in Louisiana as a group of real-life volunteers enters a manufactured -- but harrowing -- civilization and attempts to rebuild it after an "apocalypse." It's like Persons Unknown -- except that even Alan Ruck isn't gritty enough for this reality.

The Winning Team [TCM, 10 PM]

Ronald Reagan stars in this 1953 crowd-pleaser as legendary baseballer Grover Cleveland Alexander. And if the Gipper doesn't tickle your cinematic fancy, the effervescent Doris Day co-stars as his impossibly platinum blonde girl.
