So You Think You Can Dance Result: Happy Ending?

I hate when reality show judges lie to us. How many times have we found ourselves muttering, "No, Heidi, we don't need to send all four to Fashion Week," or "No, Bruno, Kate Gosselin didn't really 'get into' that rumba." So You Think You Can Dance's panel hoodwinked us with similar fibs, claiming their decision was next to impossible. When you see who was eliminated last night, you'll realize they're attempting a controversial dance called the Paso Delusional.

No one was eliminated! Arghhghghgh!

The judges had two options: Eliminate Jose, who is expired, or eliminate Billy Bell, who was only pseudo-injured this week and could've danced but chose to sit out. Opting instead to keep everyone and eliminate two contestants next week was a non-solution, ranking up there with Kara Saun's non-elimination in Project Runway's first season after she practically stole shoes for her final collection. This is upsetting.

Look, I want Billy Bell to win. I think he's easily the most talented competitor, and I think he takes on characters with ease. But he could've competed this week and he quit, meaning the judges really had no choice but to lock him in the loser infirmary with Alex and Ashley. You'll notice that after the decision was made, the remaining contestants didn't look thrilled -- particularly Adechike, who looked murderous. He has a point.

Predictions: Jose and Adechike go home next. I think this Lauren person could go all the way. That is, if the judges don't opt to save everyone again and declare that "Only girls can be eliminated this week. Rules are rules." or something.
