He may have gotten the bum end of the stick: Ciarán Hinds? Really? I mean, no offense, Ciarán, but I can't see it. I actually would have bought him turning into the film's Tom Wilkinson, but that one's reserved for Worthington's costar Martin Csokas.
All this time-shifting is in the service of a Nazi-hunting tale, with Worthington, Chastain, and Csokas capturing a villainous war criminal, then Hinds, Mirren, and Wilkinson realizing decades later that they may have to finish the job that once went awry. It's all urgently gone and a little generic-looking, though my prevailing sentiment after watching it was, "Can't John Madden catch a break?"
VERDICT: On the fence.
