Even long-time schlockmeister Cage realized that 2007's Ghost Rider was sort of a crime against film-going humanity and even talked about rebooting it himself prior to his recent announcement. Reportedly, the new Ghost flick won't be a straight-up sequel, but more of standalone film that takes place roughly eight years after the first movie. And if all that isn't enough to give you the heebie-jeebies, Cage announced it would be directed by Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor, otherwise known as the writers of the execrable Jonah Hex. And isn't that scarier than any bike-riding, flame-headed demon from Hell?
