Harry Potter Cast Conjures Up New Roles

The final one-two punch of the Harry Potter series doesn't land till this November, but two of the saga's arch-rivals have already landed their next film roles. Or maybe they haven't...

Coming Soon reports that erstwhile Draco Malfoy, Tom Felton, has been cast as Brian Cox's son in the Planet of the Apes "re-imagining" Caesar: Rise of the Apes. Felton joins James Franco, Frida Pinto and John Lithgow in a movie that sounds like it could be intriguing or terrible or maybe both. But at least it'll be better than Tim Burton's awful abortion of a re-boot.

On less certain ground is the rumor Daniel Radcliffe has signed up to star in a remake of The Woman in Black. Radcliffe would play a young attorney who travels to the home of a deceased client in order to retrieve their papers and becomes ensnared in all sorts of spooky hijinks. The only confirmation to this rumor however, was a tweet from Radcliffe's PR agent -- a tweet that has since been deleted. So until someone from Dan's camp mutters a Persona Revelio spell, you might want to take that news with a grain of salt.
