Which European City Will Host the First Overseas Real Housewives?

HousewivesOC225.jpgYou knew it was only a matter of time before Andy Cohen stretched his Real Housewives franchise across the Atlantic, and surprise, the Bravo exec has already found his first batch of wealthy, out-out-of-touch women to shamelessly chronicle in one of the world's oldest cities. Can you guess which one?

No, not Jericho. Get ready for the Real Housewives of Athens. According to the New York Post:

The Real Housewives of Athens -- as in Greece, not Georgia -- is currently being filmed and is expected to premiere this fall. Like its American sisters, this version will follow affluent Greek ladies as they bustle about the cradle of democracy.

That's not all though. Bravo is reportedly in the early stages of production on another European spin-off:

Although it hasn't been picked up yet, casting is complete for the UK's The Real Housewives of Sandbanks, set on the ritzy resort peninsula in Dorset, England -- aka "Britain's Monte Carlo."

So thank you, Andy Cohen, for exporting one of America's most embarrassing television products overseas. This will not inspire terrorism, at all.
