· Undeclared alum Timm Sharp is replacing Mos Def on HBO's upcoming comedy series Enlightened, which stars Laura Dern as a self-destructive woman who decides to live an enlightened life. The single-camera project is from Mike White. [Deadline]
· Jack Black's production company, Electric Dynamite Prods., and Reveille have optioned the TV rights to the best-selling non-fiction book My Life As An Experiment from A.J. Jacobs. The book features humorous descriptions of the author's 10-month-long attempts at self-improvement, including "assuming the identity of a beautiful young woman to outsourcing his life to a couple of Indian assistants."
